The World of Detective Paul (WDP) is a young Russian publisher of children's literature.

A detective story about adults who remain children.
"Christmas Stollen" is one of the books in the "The World of Detective Paul" series, in which Paul and his friends continue to uncover the secrets of their native village. The book can be read both as part of a series and separately, in winter and summer, while traveling and at home, alone and with the whole family.
Christmas is celebrated in the gray house on the hill.
Near the fireplace in the living room, ten-year-old boys and girls gathered, to whom the hostess tells a mysterious story about an adult boy. She does not name the main character, but suggests that he can be found among the guests. Children eagerly rush to find, unaware that they themselves have long been part of other secret game.

Why is the book called like that?
The title of each of our books has a meaning seems hidden from children but not adults.
The book "Christmas Stollen" has such a name, not because we wanted to sell it without fail before Christmas, but because everything beautiful in our life needs time: children to grow up, adults to become happy, feelings to get stronger, and stollen to mature.

We published our first book with all the stories about Paul and his friends and lunched podcast with fairytales back in 2020. But the 2020 book was unillustrated and paperback. Our readers asked for a beautiful illustrated version of the book. Therefore, the collection book "Christmas Stollen" became the first such version.
In 2023, we will continue our work. Already now we are preparing to release an updated version of the book with all the stories from "The World of Detective Paul", supplemented by charming illustrations by Yana Kamchatova.
